"I think Jocelyn provides an excellent environment for being with those most vulnerable parts of ourselves and in an embodied way."

Before this class, I was not getting enough into my body's experience in sessions and was being more verbal (and rote) than was useful for my focusing to advance.

As a result of taking the class, I have learned to start sessions with a deeper appreciation for the support of my environment, which cuts through isolation.

I have also learned the value of describing which brings me more deeply into my body.

And, importantly, I have learned more to dis-identify with the "knottiest" parts (pun intended) of my tangle around food, weight and body image - and this has led to such opening up that I am very grateful for the class and would consider taking it again.

As for working with Jocelyn as a guide, I find she is so gentle, kind and skillful - so open-hearted - that, being a therapist, I would recommend her to anyone.

Working with her underscores my own sense of what's important in therapy/focusing/guiding. I think she provides an excellent environment for being with those most vulnerable parts of ourselves and in an embodied way.

It has been a great pleasure working with her.
